SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for designing, analyzing and testing systems and components and supporting them in production by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for carrying out starting engineering level development assignments with supervision.

Develops control and power circuits for robotic medical x-ray equipment. Designs digital and mixed-signal circuitry. Draws schematics for printed circuit boards (PCBs). Builds engineering fixtures and performs design verification.

Works on collaborative project teams in conjunction with project engineers and project managers. Serves as a technical member of up to two project teams concurrently.

Provides electrical guidance to mechanical engineers and software engineers. Assists production and service in developing procedures and troubleshooting customer systems.

Works with manufacturing engineers to design and implement test fixtures for production systems.

Works with outside vendors, including printed circuit board assembly shops and cable assembly shops in both prototype building and production level fabrication and testing.

Manages own time on a daily basis according to project and departmental goals and as guided by supervisor when required.

Prepares technical sections of project reports and design documentation.

Travels infrequently to customer or supplier sites.

The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, to ensure the smooth performance of all aspects of plant maintenance, following safety procedures (related to maintenance), ability to work independently with attention on details.

Essential Duties:
· Diagnosing mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, using test equipment and tools, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
· Some mechanical knowledge of motors, pumps, gear boxes, common machines shops such as milling, cutting saw or wire machines.
· Some knowledge of plumbing and carpentry and light welding.
· Perform routine preventive maintenance for all critical equipment to ensure that they continue to run smoothly under the supervision and according to the scheduled plans by the Maintenance Manager.
· Provides feedback on potential machinery or facility upgrades.
· Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
· Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.

Position Requirements:
· Experience: 5 years in manufacturing environment.
