Position Summary
Robotics Account Manager is a field sales role that grows and manages a book of business with the customers of our client and develops a new customer base through our Client’s Motion Product Portfolio. The role is both for Client’s Controls ambassador to our customers and voice of our customers with our associates. The candidate will foster an atmosphere of teamwork, trust, accountability, and commitment among customers and associates. Give and receive feedback that directly impacts the established mission and goals of the Client’s Motion business which are key factors for achieving the objectives of the company. Having technical as well as good interpersonal communication skills are a must for success.

Role and Responsibilities:
Model desired behaviors for culture and values of Client’s Controls
Adhere to all best practices to be the best possible internal customer to your internal suppliers
Actively participate in Performance Management Plan and Individual Development Plan processes
Acquire, grow and maintain customer (account and contact) relationships
Promptly respond to customer needs with value-added solutions that enable customer success
Provide leadership for Client’s Motion company initiatives, new markets, and products
Act as a listening post for customer, competitor, and technology insights sharing as appropriate
Keep Microsoft CRM current for all relevant work
Execute all administrative reporting on time
Develop key partner relationships to facilitate value added distribution sales and integration project and technical support growth via referrals
Engage and provide guidance to other Client’s Controls Account Managers as Client’s Motion Business dictates
Assist Account Managers in areas of expertise (Robotic integration projects) that can aid the further development of the Client’s sales team

Education and Experience:
College Degree, Associate Degree or High school diploma; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
